GREAT item, GREAT price, needs a spare key, maybe?
I absolutely love the idea of using a magnetic lock instead of the kind that kids can learn to open. It worked great and was easy to install. I love how unique and this item is, and the price is incredible for this since it won't break like the old fashion kind that kids can break if they stick something in (children are smarter than we think, people! ;) ) Anyway, I love it and I would recommend it to any parent with a curious child! The only down side is there's only one key, and I am known to lose stuff...maybe a spare key would be helpful; or 5 spares in my case. ;)

Good design, but one apparent flaw
The concept of this is fantastic, as it allows you to stop little hands getting into the spirits cabinet without any visible attachments.
BUT, the screws seem to dull the effectiveness of the magnets. I thought it didn’t work at all, until by chance, it happened to work with just one of the four screws still in the main latch. The magnet didn’t work at all with all four screws in. Even with the pin attached, the strength of the magnets needs to be dialled right up.

I will buy more of this product
I have a 2 year old who enjoys opening the cabinets in the kitchen and the bathroom. I tried other cabinet stoppers, she was still able to get her finger stuck. This one with the magnetic lock, it stays close. I love this as its very easy to install. I tried one on with an strong adhesive, it works fine since we are not allowed to put holes in the cabinets in the apartment.

Works well with my toddler
We used this product on our lower kitchen cabinets. They worked great at keeping my toddler out and are easy to set up and use. I like them better than the other child safety products because my toddler can't bang the door like he does with the kind that just lock handles together. It successfully keeps him out and doesn't damage our cabinets at all.

Works great
This is the first time I tried Dreambaby's Mag Lock® Classic Magnetic Locking System. I absolutely like that its neat and well hidden. Also, that it requires no drilling. Key system works great as my kid literally have managed to destroy any adhesive lock they can see and reach. This one is discreet so they can't figure out.

Best way to keep my kids out of the outlets
Other safety options I've used are too easy for kids to simply take out or off of the outlets leaving them exposed. These are the 1st outlet safety covers that I've seen or used that actually are kidproof. Easy for me to apply & remove yet providing the peace of mind I need that I'm protecting my children!

These work great!
I installed these into my cabinets to keep my grandbaby out of my cabinets. I am very impressed! They were very easy to install and they really do the job. The key opens so easy. Once the cabinet shuts there's no opening it without the key which is exactly what I needed.

I was really excited to try these because where I live they are pretty stocked on putting screws in stuff but these were super easy to use and very helpful, I definitely would recommend to my friends and family with littles.

If I push the latch in, the magnet will continue to hold it in but isn't strong enough to pull it in itself.
I mounted 4 mag locks with the extension piece on oak cabinet doors approx 3/4"-7/8" thick and the magnet isn't strong enough to unlock any one of the doors. If I push the latch in, the magnet will continue to hold it in but isn't strong enough to pull it in itself. Any suggestions?

When will these magnetic keys be available?
We have bought and installed mag lock classic on our cupboard. The door is 19mm thick and we have used the plunger pin but the magnet still won’t engage. If you push the lock down it will hold it but not unlock on its own. Is there a stronger magnet?
Hi, I would like to know if you will be restocking this key? The day care I work at has the round locks but the key has been misplaced. Looking to buy at least 2 of these if possible?
