Really impressed
Honestly i don't think I've ever seen a baby gate that spans as wide as this one does. That was my first thought upon assembling and i was so thankful! Ive been on the search for a gate to fit my needs to block off the wide kitchen opening and finally i found one that does the job but isn't too big . It's a really sturdy piece. Assembly isn't difficult , either. I love the ease of use for adults yet my youngest (2) has not been able to figure it out which is a must - and is also impressive as she can open door locks and dead bolts now. I also feel the gate is priced really fairly for the value.

This is amazing!
I love this baby gate! I'm not one to give reviews but I had to on this one. Out of the box, it was super easy to assemble thanks to the easy to read instructions with pictures! We've had he gate almost 2 months. The gate itself holds up very well. My older kids (10 & 12) can operate it with no issue while the 2 youngest haven't even attempted to understand the lock. They figured out their last gate within a week! It's in a very high traffic area and is used often. The adjustable ability has come in handy also, the doorway it is in, is an odd size. I am thinking about buying another for our covered porch.

Sturdy construction but heavy
It is a very sturdy construction in terms of the gate itself. However, they use a lot of plastic parts to anchor and connect the gateway. The instructions were not clear on the mounting. I suggest you walk thru the operation of the gate especially how the mechanism locks and unlocks. The gate is metal construction and is quite heavy. For some individuals, it may a little difficult to lift up (about 3 inches) and maneuver it thru the latch.

Great product
I really love this gate. The only thing is that it took forever to put together. After I did get it all together and put it up, it was great. My 14 month old could not get through it or over it like he can do with the standard wooden gates. It is very solid and sturdy. I would definitely be getting a few more. 1 for my porch and 1 for the doorway into my kitchen. Thanks Viewpoints for this great opportunity to sample this awesome gate.

I need one of these for every room in my house.
Once I got the sample in the mail it was very easy to install and worked in my large doorway. It helps keep the baby out of the bedroom and also the dogs. I was afraid it would be like the others and the dogs would destroy it,but no it remains strong and is the perfect gate for babies and fur babies. So glad I was chosen to test this product. I will be buying more of this gate.. love love it.

easy to install and very safe
Broadway Xtraa Wide Gro Gate is amazing. I had never heard of the brand before but it is well made easy to use comes in great color choices. I am a mom of 2 toddlers and my youngest loves the dogs bowl of food. This is perfect for the wide doorway to my laundry room to keep him out. I like the design and make better then other brands I have seen, the quailty is long lasting.

Yes, I did use the gate for my toddler and my dog. It was big and wide enough to cover the area I wanted to cover. It was very sturdy so my child or my dog could take it down. I wanted to send a picture but could get my toddler to stop crying to take the picture. but... yes... there were times where she enjoyed being behind the gate.

This product is my favorite by far!
The Broadway Xtra Wide Gro-Gate© is by far the best baby gate we have used for our kids. It was easy to install and uninstall if you wanted to move it. It extends up to 53 inches and hold great still!! I was not sure when I first got it but now I would reccomend this to any parebt or pet owner. It is not complicated to set up.
