Doggo Containment Achieved!!
This gate is a life saver. I have small dogs with bionic legs and it's nearly impossible to keep them in a room without a door. We can't have the back door open because there is no screen door and the dogs won't stay. This gate is not only too high to jump over, the slats are thin enough that the smaller dog can't slip through! Nothing horizontal to use for purchase for climbing either so this will come in handy when my grandson is old enough to walk. Genius design. It's wide enough to stretch across my entire entry way too. It's pretty heavy duty but was also easy to put together. Overall I am very pleased with this gate. This will be used daily.

Great pet gate!
I ordered this baby gate online and when it came I was very happy as the bars are 4cm apart....perfect for a small breed of dog. The descriptions of baby gates typically do not say how far apart the bars are. The quality is amazing! I made some changes to the latch system as I needed to gate space to be minimal from the floor to the bottom of the gate. Also, the lifting with the current system is way too challenging for frequent use with a pet.
I purchased these plastic pieces in the cupboard handle hardware area at Home Depot. It has made the lift of the gate a 1/2”....super easy! I installed 2 gates and plan to order a third to put between the living room and dining room.

I think the Broadway gate it's pretty cool it helps me out a lot with my dogs from getting out of the area that they're supposed to be in, one of the things I really like about this gate is that it's super light but yet really really sturdy, another thing I like about the gate is that is easy to install it took me less than 10 minutes and I'm very happy with the results. I also like the gate because this extra tall and my bull dogs can't jump over it. So whether you need the gate for a child or pet this is your gate to use I went through a lot of gates in my time and this one by far is the best one so from here on out I'm only going to use the Broadway Gates and if you need a gate I recommend you try this one.

Nice gate for both pets and children
This is a high quality and sturdy construction and well made gate. Keeps my German Shepherds safe and and secure upstairs when we have guests downstairs. Also keeps my youngest curious toddler, Sammy, at bay when I am busy doing DIY projects and can't keep an eye on him every minute when he tries to help. So easy to install and use. Innovative puzzle latch which we love that has a red or green indicator light showing locked and unlocked. Great feature. No sharp edges and swings open both ways. A must for those with children and pets. Really love this product.

Great baby proofing
I love this gate! This gate is perfect for babies,toddlers,pets, and my 6 and 5 year old! So far, it's withheld my 4 oldest kids trying to open it and they were pretty determined , so that's pretty sturdy if you know what I mean! The width is very nice but the height is why I love this so much I'm 5'1 and it comes up past my waist. Its wide,tall, sturdy, and does its job!

Works for dogs too
I got this gate about a week ago. It took me a minute to set it up, but managed it by myself (looks more complicated than what it really is). I have dogs which are my kids, and they like to go into the bedrooms or new areas that they are not allowed in mark spots. I was tired of blocking the entry way with what ever was available to keep them out of those rooms. I love how it looks, with an ornamental look (thinking of painting it black) and the easy open gate makes it perfect for me to go between rooms and keeping the dogs out.

Not the quality I expected.
After lots of searching for a good gate I purchased this one. Big mistake. When it came to installing it I realized the hinges and hardware are cheap make this gate unusable. Short, poor quality screws. The plastic gate adjuster fell apart as I was installing it. The hinges are also chape plastic and do not function well, or at all.

Can the gate be removed (while leaving the brackets in place) when not in use?
Hi Sarah, The Broadway Gate is not designed to be removable when not in use. We do offer a retractable gate that can be removed from the wall while leaving the mounted hardware in place. Hope this helps!
