Smaller than I thought
So I was extremely excited for this product to help keep the little one a little more confined. It is definitely sturdy and safe for baby to crawl in and up to, however it is much smaller than I anticipated. It is about the same size as a traditional play pen would have as far as floor space to move around. I think that it would be handy to block a fireplace or entertainment center, but in a smaller room it would take up a lot of space to do this. Overall, I wish I would have had this when baby wasn't as mobile and just needed a safe spot to roll around in. For a mobile 9 month old, it is just too small.

FANTASTIC PRODUCT
I have tried many play-pens and gates, but this Mayfair Converta 3 in 1 Play-Pen Gate is amazing. It comes folded in a large box, so assembly is super easy. Its easy to mold the gate or play-pen to the size and shape to fit your needs. It is super high quality that a child cannot move once locked. They also cannot hurt themselves by trying to escape. I cannot tell you enough how amazing this product is. Mayfair really researched pro and cons of prior products prior to creating this 3 in 1 Play-Pen Gate. If you want to add length you can purchase additional extensions online for super cheap. If I had to pick a con, it would be the weight of the box, but you want a play-pen gate to be heavy so it cannot be moved easily. I LOVE IT AND YOU WILL TOO!!!

Mayfair Converta® 3-in-1 Play-Pen Gate - White is actually really simple to set up it just snaps together and then you can place it either in a circle, around a doorway or doorframe to keep the little ones out of a room, there are so many different ways to play this 3-in-1 Play-Pen Gate that no matter where you are or what you may need a gate for this is the one to have simply because of the lightweight easy to carry and convert pen that can be placed anywhere. I really liked the way it was simple to fold up and light enough to carry when I went out for a picnic and small enough to be placed in my trunk without taking up too much space. So all in all this Mayfair Converta 3-in-1 Play-Pen Gate has been the best gate that I have tried and I love it just as much !

A must have!!
This Mayfair Converta 3-in-1 Play-Pen Gate is the ultimate play-pen gate. It has so many different ways you could use this gate. I love that my daughter has a play-pen. When she is not playing I can block off areas in my home where she doesn’t belong. The play-pen gate is covers a big space. I love that they have the option to add additional play-pen gate pieces to make it even longer. This play-pen gate also locks securely and I definitely love how easy it was to assemble. I am truly satisfied and I highly recommend this.

Great Baby Gate
Finally a baby gate that stretches the length of our dining room doorway and then some! It is a great quality metal, and seems to be a very sturdy gatey toddler is always tugging and hanging on it. My only complaints are that it was a pain to assemble, the push tabs are unforgiving and the actual gate that opens is really narrow. It becomes a bit if a headache when needing to get something largebor heavy from one side to the other. All in all though a great quality baby gate that I would absolutely recommended!

Really good product
The Mayfair playpen gate is a good product.i really enjoyed using this gate for my son who is 7 months and likes to be in his walker. Very handy by using it to close off the kitchen when I'm cooking or just stop him from going anywhere he isn't suppose to be. I like how your able to fasten it on the wall for safety. I wish the gate was a little more modern looking such as wider bars maybe wood instead of the material it's made of. But other than that I definitely would recommend this product.

Hinges slip
I bought two of these to protect a tricky staircase and large fireplace. They are holding up to our one year old for now, but I am concerned because the locking hinge mechanism will slip under pressure (if I push on it). The teeth are not very deep and don’t appear to hold up to much abuse. My husband also has trouble closing the door properly.

Awesome Baby Shower Gift
I use it to keep little yet busy feet...and paws...out of the kitchen while cooking. I've also used it in several other ways...1) to keep the stairs from becoming a hazard 2) on a blanket on the beach for safety and naptime and 3) to block off the fireplace. It's definitely more than 3 in 1 in my book...it has so many incredible uses.

Do you have to drill each mount into the wall?
We have had two of these because they’re great. The mounts do need to be drilled in. The first yes we drilled all four mounts into the wall and they held up well. We also drilled into the grout because we used the gate to span a large opening over one step (old tile and ugly grout so no problem).

hi, compared with the model "Royale Converta" with the width of 151", is the width the only difference? I have the width btw two walls is 151", does this mean I cannot choose Wayfair Converta but the Royale Converta only?

Thank you for reaching out! The width & appearance are the only differences. Both have (full panel) extensions that can be added to reach your measured width. The Mayfair Panel is Product Code L2040BB, * the Royale Converta Panel Product Code is L1950 (& is a two panel extension).
