The Newport Adapta-Gate combines safety and convenience in one fantastic package. Hardware mounted for stability, it incorporates three hinged panels that can accommodate straight, angled, wide, and/or irregular openings and landings. Unlike many other gates that only span a doorway, it creates safe and roomy landings at the top or bottom of staircases and can also be used across wider openings. It’s easy to arrange and install based upon your needs and preferences, and using the Newport Adapta-Gate makes this even easier! Designed by parents, for parents, our gate allows for one-handed operation, has a convenient easy-close feature, and comes with an EZY-Check indicator so you know when the gate securely closed. Our gate also comes with the Smart Stay-Open feature, which allows the gate to ‘stay open’ whenever it’s not needed. Cleverly designed, the Dreambaby® Newport Adapta Gate swings open in both directions, but you can limit it to open in only one direction. This feature is especially important when used at the top of stairs. Hinged panels can accommodate openings of 85.5cm – 2.0m across. Gate measures 74cm high.

Spectacular
First let me just say, this gate is spectacular! I've never had a baby gate that closes off so much of an area than this one. I love that you can go in and out of the gate as well as the gate door open from the inside and the outside of the specific room or area. Prior to receiving this gate, I've never heard of the brand at all nor have I ever seen the brand or the products. Now that I have this gate it's so easy for me and my family to get through an area without the baby getting through the area. I feel that it's very secured and very safe for small children. I also would definitely Recommend this gate to all of my mommy friends and family.

I love this gate.
I just love this adapta-gate. I can tell you that I have had many baby/pet gates and this one is by far the best. It works great for children and pets, and the adaptability is perfect for my house. I have a unique opening in my livingroom/ bar area and this gate fits it perfectly. The best surprise i got when i received my gate is it came fully assembled, all I had to do was bolt it to the wall's. I would absolutely buy this gate and recommend it to all my friends and family. The only bad thing I can say about it is once you have it set up you have to lift the door up slightly to open it and it will lift off the floor, but it's a very small lift and every great thing about this gate far out ways this slight inconvenience.

WIDE gate
We were looking for a gate wide enough to close in the entrance to our front porch. This is the only one we found. It was very reasonably priced, arrived promptly, was easy to install and looks great. We are thrilled! Our grandson and grand dogs are now safe out front.

Best gate on the market!
This gate is fantastic! I love how big and small it can be, super easy installation. All of the parts were there and nicely packaged, making installation a breeze! Minor power tool use for the screws and now you're mounted to the wall. The handle is easy to use and very secure. This is great to keep children and animals in certain areas. The dogs jump on it a lot and the paint is holding up incredibly well. I'm very impressed with this gate, most of the other gates we have had were nowhere close to being this study. Hopefully this holds up for a long time!

Great product
This is a well made quality product. I was searching for a barrier with gate that was not cheap and flimsy. I have had the system installed for several months. I am very happy. In addition, I had reason to contact customer support. I feared the worst. Instead they were very helpful and responsive. 5 stars from me.

The Perfect Gate
This gate is a life saver! My living room has a wide entry way and I have never been able to find a gate to fit before that I liked or even wanted to try. The Adapta-Gate solved that problem. It is VERY durable, and easy to use, and I love that is has a clean fresh look to it and it is not an eye sore. We recently had a large family gathering and I received so many compliments on the gate! It was very easy for me to install - its a breeze to wipe clean, and a top of the line gate. It will not disappoint.

Absolutely in love!
I received the white Newport adaptagate for free to test it out and let me tell you this is the Bentley of gates!!! I absolutely love how big this is and you can even buy Extra pieces to add to it to make this huge gate even bigger we attached to our walls so this gate will not move at all no wiggles and my favorite feature is no bar to push down there is a two step process to open this gate and I love that because little kids can't just open and close it you have to push the button until you don't see the red anymore then lift up on it as well helping me kept the little ones from getting through the gate! I love as well the white color it's so clean looking and it will go with almost any decor in my house it's very easy to clean as well I'm just so in love with this gate!!! This is a must have!!!

Great, durable baby gate- for kids and pets alike
So we have tried several different baby gates. The ones you crank into the space, ones you mount, etc but this current house has a weird setup where we needed the gate by the staircase and near the kitchen. This was the perfect baby gate because it not only has to be installed only once but also keeps the dog out! We have a large dog so this is a huge plus. The easy to open door makes it perfect for what we needed, this is a great gate, definately recommend!

Can I move the gate panel to one side and have the other two panels together? My elderly husband likes to hold onto the wall to go down our one step.
