I receieved this product for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. My husband installed this gate. The directions were clear. No issues. Gate slides excellent. Handle is a bit tricky at first. I'm absolutely loving it. We purchased a cheap standard gate and I hated having to move it or step over it... And at this point my 7 month old dog was able to just jump the standard right into my baby nursery. This gate is taller and it works excellent. Absolutely love it. I do wish it was available in other colors though as white is a bit difficult to keep clean with multiple usage daily.

I love that's it's suitable for indoor and outdoors. I was aware of this awesome product from a friend who is currently using it, and wanted one so bad The quality of the material is good. You can install it in the doorway or stairway. Easy installation which comes with useful and easy to read instructions. It also comes with the mounts. It doesn't hang back and forth like the cheap wooden/plastic gates once they losen up. It's used for pets and children. It looks sturdy, but I feel nervous because (that's just the way I am) to install the gate up the stairs for a toddler like mine who is very destructive even if the material looks good and sturdy.

Great for children and pets!
This retractable indoor/outdoor security gate is perfect for our first floor stairs that lead to the second floor! My two oldest children have no issues retracting the gate to go upstairs. This gate provides peace of mind, knowing my infant cannot crawl up the stairs. Even though this retractable gate is in place, I still keep an eye on my youngest.
This gate is also perfect if you have pets, specifically dogs. Sometimes we don’t want the dogs upstairs, on the beds. Especially if their paws might be muddy and we don’t catch it in time. I really like how this gate attaches to the wall on both sides. When my husband and I tried using a regular baby gate, our bigger dog kept knocking it over. Highly recommend!

Good gate
Picked this up as we were looking for a gate that fixed to the wall with hardware rather than pressure. The gate is very easy to mount and comes with a good number of adapters to suit different mounting styles.
It requires two hands to open the gate, which can be a little tricky but we have put it somewhere we will be having both hands free so this is not an issue.
The gate seems very durable and stops both our baby and our robot vacuum cleaner. Will probably get a second set of mounting points to allow us to move the gate when needed.

Convenient and attractive
What I like about this gate is that it can easily be "put away" when you don't necessarily want a baby gate up. We have a gate installed at the top of our stairs that is a wooden gate that either needs to be shut or can be left open but it swings out into the hallway a few feet and has two metal pieces that stick out of the side when left open that are a definite hazard for a running toddler, so it basically always has to be closed. When you have other family or friends over, or just at night after the littles are in bed, sometimes you don't want people to have to navigate over or around your baby gates so this one is a nice compromise! I like the minimalist design and that it isn't an eye sore!

Keep the baby secured
Super easy to install retractable security gate. It comes with easy to read instructions. The quality of the product is amazing, i had used another security gate in past for my pet before but that so very difficult to use. Since it is something that i use to atleast 5-10 times a day, i would prefer to spend few extra money to have good quality gate. I used it inside at staircase but it can also be used outside. I loved the grey color, very subtle and elegant. Loved the product and would recommend to anyone who is looking for good quality security gate for pets or infant.

Toddler safe!
I installed the gate between the hallway to the kitchen ( the most dangerous place for a toddler!) When there are little ones running around its hard to get them to stop following you. It's bad enough they already copy everything we do. My first thought was this is heavy. And of great quality but what if it falls at a let go of the gate. However it turned out to be very sturdy and reliable to keeping the kids OUT ! It took longer than expected to build and get together but the labor was worth it in the end. The black one I received I really loved it gives like a total shut off- off limits warning sign. Howevet I wouldve definitely bought for the other rooms if the price itself would be in my mommy budget, but totally recommending to all mommies (specially us new ones who have anxiety about everything!) Thank you so much for the opportunity.

Great product for kids!
Having a toddler at home we go through quite a few baby gates! This is by far one of my favorite. I really like the mesh design compared to the slates with other gates. ( My toddler likes to try and stick his legs through those) The retractable design is fantastic, though it is not as easy to retract as I would have liked it to be. This may just get better with practice. With gates everywhere being able to "hide" the gate when not in use is great. It was much easier to install than some of my other gates that I have used. Before I was offered this free sample I was not aware of this particular product, so I am very happy that I was able to test it. This is most certainly a product that I would buy in the future if I am in need of another gate.

3 questions: 1. I noted the comment that this is a "one-handed opening system". Reviews say that this is difficult. 2. What about closing the gate, is it one-handed? 3. Can this gate be fitted diagonally across a hallway?
1. The gate is operable with one hand. First push the button down and turn and release it, you do not need to hold it in that position. Then you can use that same hand to reach over and hold the handle to retract the gate.
2. The same process is used to open/close the gate.
3. Yes, it has three different mounting settings so it can be mounted at a variety of angles.

Hi,I read in the instruction manual that the gate should not be placed higher than 0.3cm from the floor.We have a marble skirting board, so we would have to place the bottom brackets of the gate at a height of 5cm from the floor.Is it still possible?

This gate should not be installed above the skirting boards. We offer spacers to assist with the even installation of this gate against walls with skirting/base boards.

Can I install this diagonally across a hallway? i.e. Instead of installing the one side directly across the hallway from the first install, it would be installed about 1 foot further down the hall so the gate would be positioned diagonally across the hall
This retractable gate should be installed in a straight line. For uneven/diagonal installations, we recommend our modular hardware-mounted gates which can be set up according to the needs of your space.
