Amazing stair gate! After trying multiple different types of stair gate we struggled to find a solution that Sophia wouldn’t be able to open or get around. This dreambabysafety retractable stair gate was able to fit my needs. So far this has been fantastic and has kept Sophia safe and allowed us to control when she goes up the stairs. It’s super easy to install and comes with easy instructions to follow.

Simple to operateThis is the second Dreambaby gate, the original seems to have jammed after 10 years service. The new gate is lighter to operate, maybe we just got used to the spring resistance being stronger. Easy to install with fitting template. The grey colour gate is well suited to our decor.

Good buyI bought this for when my grandaughter stays and works well. Operation is easy and less intrusive than a standard stair gate. I like the idea of no permanent bar on the step which I think could be a trip hazard.

Good, Sturdy GateGood quality gate. Require spacers for skirting. Best for the top of stairs
Hi, it states here that this gate can be installed at angles. Looking on another website (Argos, UK) there are various answers to questions from Dreambaby customer service that states it should only be installed in a straight line. Yes or no?
Asked by: Confused
The Dreambaby gate could be fitted horizontally without any problems in use. I assume you don't mean at in a vertical angle such as over a ramp, as the fabric would then have a twist in use. So in yes or no terms YES.

Is it possible to make this a left handed hat or can it only be used right handed as I need it to go from left to right
Asked by: Daniel47
I would suggest that the 'gate' can only be fitted to the right side of the stairs. The release button on the top of the roller is always on the right hand side. To fit the 'gate' on the left hand side the button would be at the floor and not operational.

Are the spacers included with the gate? What size of skirting would they be suitable for?
Many thanks

Hi I would.like to fit this.product in my campervan but only have a tight space to work in. Would the roller brackets fit in a space 4.5cm wide? And the attachment brackets 6cm wide? Thanks

How to you use the gate one handed? When ours retracts (noisy…. Is there anyway to stop the horrid noise?!) we then have to push the button down, hold it and pull the gate across?! We purchased it to stop the cat from going upstairs but it’s hard and loud
